Project Update | Global Reach Logistics

Since our last update Colonial have progressed well with Phase 1 of the Global Reach Logistics project, focusing on site stabilisation and the removal of water and fire damaged materials. Our subcontractors are currently undertaking the first-fix mechanical and electrical works, as well as first-fix carpentry within the office space. In addition, full-height hoarding is being erected within the warehouse to protect the tenant while external works to the roof and wall cladding are being carried out.

A delay in the delivery of roofing materials has presented a challenge to the progression of the project. However, these have been effectively mitigated by expediting some of the internal works in the office building. As a result, progress on site has remained positive and continues to be in line with the programme.

Looking ahead, the team will move on to the next stage of the works, which includes replacing the roof panels and purlins to part of the office building, along with sections of the wall liner panels. Colonial’s proactive approach and adaptability have been instrumental in keeping the project moving forward. We look forward to sharing further progress updates with you…
